Up for your consideration is a very nice $2 CSA note. Engraved and Printed by Keatinge & Ball. Dated February 17th 1864. Hand written serial number, 7885.

Graded and certified by PMG "CHOICE UNCIRCULATED 64 NET" with PMG noting on the backside that this note has "Stains".

Plate letter F; with the right plate letter at the right. In his 2014 field edition, "Collecting Confederate Paper Money", Fricke has assigned this plate letter error a rarity of R10.

Nice color and eye appeal. Very crisp paper. Elaborately written signatures. Fully framed with a full borderline visible.

NO folds or tears, just a couple light handling creases. No pinholes. As noted by PMG on the holder, there are stains, which are scattered across the paper, but they do not readily stand out.

Judah P. Benjamin, featured at the right side, broke down many barriers of prejudice and achieved great political power in the South. His achievements opened the door for many Jews to aspire to run for public office.

GUARANTEED to be an AUTHENTIC note from the Civil War era. Plus, it is already certified by one of the best independent grading companies in the business.
