Up for your consideration is a very nice $5 CSA note, that features C. G. Memminger, The Secretary of the Treasury for the Confederacy from 1861 to 1864.

Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Dated February 17th 1864. Plate letter F, series 2. ABOUT UNCIRCULATED+ condition.

Features a very collectible "RADAR" (reads the same forwards and backwards) serial # 71317 hand written at the top right.

Crisp paper. Nice color on both sides. Good signatures and numbering. Sharp corners. Nearly fully framed; trimmed right on the line at the left corner and bottom right corner.

NO folds, tears, stains, ink erosion or hard evidence of circulation. Just a couple light handling creases are noted as well as a couple small pinholes.

This example presents very well in hand, and would be classified as "CHOICE" by most market grading standards. PLUS, it features a serial number that is collectible all on its own.
