Up for your consideration is a genuine CSA $5 note (half) sheet from 1864. CHOICE EXTREMELY FINE+ condition.

Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Plate letters E, F, G, and H. Series "7" over inverted "2".

Very nice eye appeal. Dark details. Good color. Crisp paper. Fully framed with ample margins. Engraver name "Young" at the right side margin.

Essentially Uncirculated, as it was never issued, and shows no hard evidence of handling. A couple like bends in the paper with some light handling creases. NO tears, ink erosion, or major condition issues to mention. A couple pinholes.

A high grade, uncut half sheet that would be an excellent addition to any Confederate currency collection. Would look great framed on a wall.
