Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Dated February 17th 1864. Plate letter B. Series 6. Serial # 43478 hand written. FINE+ condition.

Crisp paper. Circulated with several folds and creases. All the details remain visible. Nice color on the front. Some minor staining on the backside from handling. A couple small edge nicks but no tears. A few pinholes. Nice, hand written signatures.

Trimmed a bit tight at the left side, while having extra margin at the bottom, showing a portion of another note. These notes were hand cut apart from large sheets, and that is one aspect that makes Confederate currency very unique to collect, over the machine cut notes printed today.

A circulate note that still retains a nice look. Guaranteed for life to be a genuine Civil War issue.
