Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. A genuine $5 from the Civil War. Dated February 17th 1864. Hand written signatures at the bottom, and a handwritten serial number at the top which reads 17418.

Nice color. A decent cut, and nearly fully framed; trimmed just a bit tight at the lower left corner. Extra margin at the right side. Numerous folds and creases. Some scattered staining. No tears. No pinholes.

A decent looking example of the popular issue that President Lincoln had in his wallet when we was shot. Guaranteed authentic!
