A Confederate $10 dated February 17th 1864. Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Plate letter C, series 8. VERY FINE+ condition. Serial # 92656 hand written on each side.

A mid grade note that features a higher grade look. Nice eye appeal. Dark details. Good clarity. Crisp paper with a few light folds and creases, many of which, don't readily stand out. Light shade of red color on the front, with a light blue color shade on the backside.

Clean on both sides. Elaborately written signatures. No tears or ink erosion. One pinhole. Nicely cut with ample margins on three sides; trimmed a bit tight at the left side.
