Up for your consideration is a nice $10 note dated February 17th 1864. The center shows horse drawn artillery. R.M.T.Hunter, who served as Secretary of State, and was a Confederate Senator, is shown at the lower right.

Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Plate letter C. Series 7. Serial # 86871 hand written on each side. VERY FINE+ condition.

Crisp paper. Nice color on both sides. Dark printing. The central design is very clear.

Several folds and creases scattered across the paper that don't readily stand out. Fully framed on three sides, while trimmed a bit tight at the left side margin.

Nice signatures and numbering. No tears or other major condition issues to mention. A couple small pinholes.

A mid grade note that has good color and eye appeal. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
