A genuine $10 issue that is dated February 17th 1864. Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. VERY FINE+ condition. Serial number hand written on each side, 85493. Plate letter F, series 7.

Nice shade of red color on front. Very crisp paper with several folds and creases. NO tears or major staining. Nice signatures and numbering. No pinholes.

Nearly fully framed, but trimmed a bit tight. You have to remember that these notes were cut apart from large sheets by hand. Getting these notes into circulation was more important then accurate cuts.
