Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. A genuine $10 CSA Note, dated February 17th 1864. Plate letter F. Hand drawn series 5 that is distorted. A fancy, hand written serial number 76319. FINE+ condition.

Nice, red color. Dark printing. The paper still retains crispness, and holds up well. Several folds and creases spread evenly across the paper. Some light staining.

A unique cut, showing a portion of another note at the bottom, that was below this one on the sheet. You have to remember that these notes were printed on large sheets, and then cut apart by hand. This note uniquely shows one example of what makes Confederate notes very interesting to collect.

A sharp looking note, with several unique aspects going for it. Guaranteed for life to be a genuine issue, with a distorted series number as described.
