Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. A genuine $10 CSA Note dated February 17th 1864. Series 5., plate letter C. FINE condition.

Crisp paper. Fancy, hand written signatures. Hand written serial number which reads 76260. Nice color. A decent cut, and pretty much fully, trimmed right on the line at the left side margin.

Numerous folds and creases, but the paper holds up well. Small edge tear at top margin. A couple small pinholes, and one larger one left of center. Some scattered staining that does not detract much.

A well circulated note that has retained eye appeal. Guaranteed for life to be an authentic issue from the Civil War.
