Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. A genuine $10 CSA Note dated February 17th 1864. Plate letter B, series 6. Hand written serial number reading 76197, at each side. EXTREMELY FINE+ condition.

Nice eye appeal. Good color. Very crisp paper. Dark printing with sharp details. One hard vertical fold at the right side. Several light handling creases, mostly at the side edges. A couple pinholes. No tears.

Fully framed on three sides, while hand trimmed a bit tight at the bottom margin. A small amount of ink staining on the backside. Elaborately written signatures in two places at the bottom.

A note that retains a lot of eye appeal. Guaranteed for life to be an authentic issue from the Civil War.
