A genuine 1864 $10 Confederate note. Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Dated February 17th 1864. Plate letter C, with both plate letters weak and incomplete. Series 5. Serial # 66394 hand written on each side. FINE+/VERY FINE condition.

Crisp paper. Light folds and creases spread evenly across the paper. Dark details. The central design is sharp and clear. Nearly fully framed, while trimmed just a bit tight at the left side margin.

Nice hand written signatures and numbering. A couple small pinholes. The bottom margin is a bit rough with a couple edge nicks, none of which cross the frame line.
