Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. A genuine $10 note dated February 17th 1864. Plate letter G, with a hand written series 7. Serial # 57521 hand written on each side. VERY FINE+ condition.

Dark printing. The central design is sharp and clear. Crisp paper with a few light folds and creases. Nice color on the front, with a dark shade of blue on the backside.

Very clean on both sides with no dirt stains from handling. Nearly fully framed but trimmed on the line at the right side. No other major condition issues to mention.

Nice signatures. A very collectible signature at the bottom left by Sarah Pelot. Her relative Michael McNeil wrote the 2004 book "The Signers of Confederate Treasury Notes 1861-'65", where he also catalogs all the notes signed by Sarah Pelot.

A really nice note with great color and eye appeal. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
