Up for your consideration is a nice $10 Confederate currency note. Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Dated February 17th 1864. Plate letter B. Series 5. Hand written serial number 48681 on each side in brown ink. FINE+/VERY FINE condition.

Dark printing with sharp details. Very nice eye appeal. Good color on both sides. Crisp paper that is fairly clean. A decent cut, with ample margins on three sides; trimmed a bit tight at the left side.

Very deceptive handling, with several light folds and handling creases that don't readily stand out. One pinhole. No tears or major condition issues to mention.
