A genuine $10 issue that is dated February 17th 1864. Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Plate letter G. Series 10. Serial # 44137 hand written on each side.
Conservatively graded to be in ABOUT UNCIRCULATED+ condition. Crisp paper. Sharp details. Nice color on front. The central design of horses pulling artillery is sharp and clear. Elaborately written signatures and numbering. No folds, just a light handling noted. NO tears or ink erosions. One ink stain is visible on the backside. Fully framed on three sides, while trimmed just a bit tight at the right side margin. A portion of another note is visible outside of the top margin.
