A genuine 1864 $10 Confederate note. Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Dated February 17th 1864. Plate letter G. Serial # 44126 hand written on both sides. Series 10. CHOICE ABOUT UNCIRCULATED+ condition.

Dark printing. Fancy, elaborate signatures that really stand out. Great color on the front which is leaning towards red. The details are very clear with great contrast.

FULLY FRAMED, with a full borderline visible. A portion of another note (that was above this one on the sheet) is visible outside of the top margin.

Very crisp paper with NO folds, hard creases, bent corners, stains, tears, ink erosion or other aspects which will take a notes value down. Just a couple light handling creases are evident with hard scutiny. No pinholes.
