Up for your consideration is a genuine $10 note dated February 17th 1864. Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Plate letter D. Series 10. Serial # 38339 hand written on each side. FINE+ condition.

Crisp paper. Dark printing. A decent cut, but trimmed inside the frame line. Numerous folds and creases spread evenly across the paper.

Nice signatures and numbering. Two larger tears to mention; a 1/8" at the bottom margin and a 3/8" tear at the right side margin...both with no paper loss. A few pinholes. Some staining from being handled.
