Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. A genuine $10 note dated February 17th 1864. Series 4. Serial # 38050 hand written on each side. VERY FINE condition.

Plate letter B, that is clearly seen at the left side. The right plate letter looks odd, and appears to be a B over H correction.

Very nice eye appeal. Crisp paper. Dark printing. Light red color on the front with a light blue reverse. A few folds and creases evenly scattered across the paper that don't readily stand out. Nice signatures and clear numbering. No tears. No pinholes. Minor stain on the reverse. Nearly fully framed. Trimmed just bit tight at the left side (upper) margin.

A mid grade note that has great color, and a unique plate letter aspect. You will like this note, I guarantee it.
