Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Up for your consideration is a very nice $10 CSA Note, dated February 17th 1864. Plate letter F, series 6. Hand written serial # 32987. VERY FINE condition.

Crisp paper. Great color. Dark printing with nice eye appeal. No tears. Clean on both sides. The central design is sharp and really stands out.

A few light folds and creases. Elaborately written signatures in two places at the bottom. A couple pinholes.

A unique cut, showing a portion of another note at the top, that was above this one on the sheet. You have to remember that these notes were printed on large sheets, and then cut apart by hand. Normally, a full borderline is more favorable over a mis-cut, however this note uniquely shows one example of what makes Confederate notes very interesting to collect.

A quality note that is guaranteed for life to be an authentic issue from the Civil War.
