A bright example of this popular issue. Dark red color on the front, with a dark blue color on the reverse. The details are sharp and clear. Great contrast. Very crisp paper. Elaborately written signatures. Fully framed; trimmed just outside the line at the bottom margin.

One horizontal fold in the center, and another vertical fold left of center. A few other light handling creases. A few small ink stains on the backside. NO tears. One pinhole.

A note with very nice eye appeal. Guaranteed for life to be a genuine piece of Civil War history.
