A genuine $10 Confederate note, dated February 17th 1864. Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Serial # 28044 hand written on both sides. Series 10. Plate letter B, with the right plate letter tilted. EXTREMELY FINE+ condition.

Very crisp paper. Nice color on both sides with good clarity showing troops pulling a cannon in the center. No folds, but a few light handling creases. No tears. No pinholes.

Fully framed on two sides, while hand trimmed tight at the left side margin. Dark printing. Elaborately written signatures.
