Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. A genuine $10 note dated February 17th 1864. Plate letter G. Series 9. Serial # 2492 hand written on each side. EXTREMELY FINE+ condition.

Dark printing. Sharp eye appeal. Very nice color that is pushing toward red. Crisp paper. Elaborately written signatures.

NO folds, tears, stains, ink erosion, or other major condition factors. Two pinholes. Just a few light handling creases are noted.

Nearly fully framed. Trimmed just inside the line on the right side margin. Extra margin at the top left, showing a portion of another note. That note would have been the one above this one on the sheet, when it was cut apart.

This high grade note has several nice aspects to it. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed.
