Up for your consideration is a very nice $10 note dated February 17th 1864. Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Dated February 17th 1864. Plate letter B, series 9. Hand written serial # 20834. EXTREMELY FINE condition.

Crisp paper. Dark printing. Elaborately written signatures. Nice color on both sides, leading to very good eye appeal. The central design is sharp. Nearly fully framed, while trimmed just a bit tight at left side margin.

A couple light folds and creases that don't readily stand out. No tears, stains, ink erosion, or major condition issues to mention. A couple pinholes.

A very nice example that presents very well in hand.
