Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Dated February 17th 1864. Plate letter F, series 2 hand written. Hand written serial number which reads 18916. FINE+ condition.

Crisp paper. Dark printing with details that stand out. Fully framed with a decent cut. A portion of another note is seen at the bottom margin.

Several folds and creases spread evenly across the paper. Some minor staining from handling. A couple edge nicks at the top margin that barely graze the frame line. Good color on both sides. Nice signatures at the bottom.

A circulated note that still retains some nice eye appeal. Guaranteed for life to be an authentic issue from the Civil War.
