A genuine $10 issue that is dated February 17th 1864. Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Plate letter F. Series 3. Serial # 1878 hand written on each side.

Conservatively graded to be in ABOUT UNCIRCULATED+ condition.

Excepetional eye appeal. Nice color on both sides. Crisp paper. NO folds. Just a couple light handling creases are noted. NO tears, hard creases, bent corners, stains or ink erosion. A few pinholes.

Sharp details. Elaborately written signatures and numbering. Nearly fully framed. A full borderline is seen complete on three sides with it was trimmed right on the line at the top margin, which keeps us from applying the "CHOICE" grade to this note.
