Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Dated February 17th 1864. Hand signed at the bottom in two places. Hand written serial number at the left and right side, which reads 13840. Plate letter H. Series 8, hand drawn; "8 over 7 series". VERY FINE++ condition.

A sharp looking note with decent cut. Fully framed, nearly all around. Ample margin at the top. Very crisp paper. There are three light vertical folds, and then several small handling creases. No pinholes.

Nice color on both sides. Dark printing. Strong signatures and numbering. No stains, tears, or ink erosion.
