Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Dated February 17th 1864. Plate letter H. Series 3. Hand written signatures; hand written serial number which reads 13491. ABOUT UNCIRCULATED+ condition.
Crisp paper. Great color on both sides. Dark printing, leading to nice eye appeal. Roughly cut, with a near full frame line visible; trimmed just a bit tight at the lower right corner area. NO folds, tears, ink erosion, or major condition issues to mention. A few light handling creases that don't readily stand out are the only evidence this note has been handled over the years. A couple small toning spots and one small pinhole mentioned for accuracy. A very respectable example of this popular issue. One that features very nice eye appeal. Guaranteed for life to be an authentic issue from the Civil War.
