A genuine $10 Confederate note, dated February 17th 1864. Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Serial # 13005 hand written on both sides. Series 4. Plate letter B. FINE+ / VERY FINE condition.

Very crisp paper. Light shade of red color on the front with good clarity showing troops pulling a cannon. The backside is light blue, with some light staining. Several folds and creases spread evenly across the paper. No tears. A couple small pinholes.

Fully framed on three sides with ample margins, while hand trimmed tight at the left side. Hand written signatures on the bottom.

Dark printing. Nice eye appeal. The front appears to be in a much higher grade. It is not until you look at the backside that you see the extent of how much this note circulated.

A circulated note that has retained very nice eye appeal. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed.
