Engraved by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Dated February 17th 1864. Plate letter G. Series 9. Hand written serial number 107195 on each side. VERY FINE condition w/ small tear.
Light shade of red color on the front, with a dark blue reverse. Dark details that stand out. Crisp paper. Fancy signatures. Clean on both sides, aside from some ink smearing. Fully framed. Several light folds and creases that don't readily stand out. A few pinholes. Small tear at the top margin (above the left medallion) that barely crosses the frame line. A note that has a very appealing look. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed.
