Printed by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Up for your consideration is a genuine $20 note, dated February 17th 1864. Serial number 72211 hand written.

Series 1, changed to 4 by hand. One Flourish over "ica" in "America". (Interestingly enough, Fricke lists this series change for only two flourishes over "ica" in "America".)

Dark printing. Good color. Very crisp paper. Exceptional eye appeal. NO folds, bent corners, tears, or major condition issues to mention. Just a few light handling creases that don't readily stand out. Light stain at lower left that hardly detracts. No pinholes.

Ample margin at the bottom, while trimmed just a bit tight at the top left corner area. Nice signatures and numbering.

A sharp looking example of this issue, that presents very well in hand. Plus, it carries a series change that is very collectible. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed.
