Up for your preview, are (2) Genuine 1864 $20 notes, from the same sheet. While this issue is not a rare issue, finding two notes from the same sheet together is scarce indeed, and not something that you find offered for sale everyday.

Each note is dated February 17th 1864. Series 5. Serial # 71954 hand written on each side. Plate letters B and D. CHOICE VERY FINE+ condition.

Both notes are fully framed. Nice signatures and numbering. Each has a few folds and creases evenly scattered across the paper that don't readily stand out. No tears or major stains. A couple pinholes.

Plate letter D note has a portion of the red Treasury stamp on the reverse corner.

In the 1864 denominational series, uncut sheets have been found for the $500, $100, $10, $5, $2, and $.50 notes. Missing are the $50, $20, and $1 note sheets. Finding all of the 1864 issues with consecutive serial numbers does happen, but it gets much harder to find notes from the same sheet, especially with those issues where sheets have never been found.

There has never been a 1864 $20 uncut sheet found to exist, or even cut apart notes assembled, and it is extremely uncommon to find two notes from the same sheet.

This set of notes will be a topic of discussion in any paper money arena. Ready for an astute collector who is ready for a rarer addition to their collection.

GUARANTEED for life to be a GENUINE Confederate issues.
