Up for your consideration is a very nice $20 note dated February 17th 1864. Printed by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Series 7. Serial #70896 hand written twice in the center.

Very conservatively graded to be in ABOUT UNCIRCULATED+ condition.

Essentially Uncirculated, with only a couple "bank teller" handling creases at the right side. Crisp paper. Great color on both sides. Dark printing. Sharp details. No tears or major condition issues to mention.

Fully framed on three sides, while hand trimmed just a bit tight at the lower margin. The frame line of another note is seen at the top. All four corners remain unbent. Nice signatures and numbering. Two pinholes. Small ink stain on backside. The plate position number 9 is seen at the top margin.

A high grade note that presents very well in hand. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed when you make a purchase with us.
