Up for your consideration is a genuine $20 note dated February 17th 1864. Printed by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Series 7. Serial #70894 hand written twice in the center.

Very conservatively graded to be in ABOUT UNCIRCULATED+ condition with ink stain on the backside.

Essentially Uncirculated, with only a couple "bank teller" handling creases at the right side. Crisp paper. Great color on both sides. Dark printing. Sharp details.

Fully framed on three sides, while hand trimmed just a bit tight at the lower margin. Large ink stain on the backside, that happened when during the signing and numbering process. All four corners remain unbent. One pinhole. The plate position number 9 is seen at the top margin.

A high grade example that presents very well in hand. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed.
