Up for your consideration is a very nice $20 note dated February 17th 1864. Printed by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Series 7. Serial #70890 hand written twice in the center.

Very conservatively graded to be in ABOUT UNCIRCULATED+ condition.

Essentially Uncirculated, with no folds. Just a couple "bank teller" handling creases are seen at the right side. Crisp paper. Dark printing. Sharp details.

Fully framed on three sides, while trimmed just a bit tight at the lower left corner. Nice signatures and numbering. All four corners remain unbent. No pinholes. The plate position number 9 is seen at the top margin. Very minor ink smearing that hardly detracts much at all.

A very nice example that presents very well in hand. Would probably easily garnish a "CHOICE" grade by the independently grading companies. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed.
