Up for your consideration is a very nice $20 note dated February 17th 1864. Printed by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Series 7. Serial #70887 hand written twice in the center.

Very conservatively graded to be in ABOUT UNCIRCULATED+ condition.

Essentially Uncirculated with no folds. Some minor "bank teller" handling at the top right corner with some minor ink smearing there, and on the backside edge. The plate position number 9 is seen at the top margin.

Crisp paper. Dark printing. Sharp details. Fully framed on three sides, while trimmed just a bit tight at the bottom margin. Nice signatures and numbering. All the corners remain unbent. No pinholes.
