Up for your consideration is a very nice $20 note dated February 17th 1864. Printed by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Series X. Serial #40195 hand written twice in the center.

Very conservatively graded and encapsulated by PMG "EXTREMELY FINE 40 EPQ", with comments on the backside reading "EXCEPTIONAL PAPER QUALITY".

Dark printing with exceptional eye appeal. Crisp paper that is clean on both sides. Nice color. Fully framed, with a full borderline clearly visible. Nice signatures and numbering.

No tears, major stains, ink erosion, or other serious condition issues. The paper shows just a couple light folds and creases that don't readily stand out. No pinholes.

PMG was ultra conservative on the grade, as this note easily meets the qualifications for a "CHOICE" grade. You will be happy with this sharp looking note, I guarantee it.
