Up for your consideration is a very nice $20 note dated February 17th 1864. Printed by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. Series 9. Serial #15239 hand written twice in the center.

Conservatively graded by CG&A to be in "GEM UNCIRCULATED 65" condition, with an "As made fold".

Crisp paper. Great color on both sides. Dark printing. Sharp details. Nice signatures and numbering.

Fully framed. Sharp, unbent corners. No pinholes. A large portion of the red Confederate Treasury stamp is seen at the backside right corner. There is a pre printing crease visible at the bottom margin.
