A very collectible Confederate $100.00 T-41 note. Slaves hoeing cotton top center with John C. Calhoun at bottom left. Printed by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, S.C.

Encapsulated and graded by PMG to be in "VERY FINE 30 NET" condition, with comments reading "Previously Mounted, Rust".

Dated September 27th 1862. Scroll #1. Plate letter W. Inner frame line stops at "Except...Duties". Printed on paper watermarked paper with "CSA" in script letters. Serial # 19833 hand written in red ink.

A circulated note that has good details remaining. No tears. Two interest paid stamps on the back side from Richmond, VA.

What makes this note very appealing is that it has been issued by Confederate Major Thomas J. Noble, who was Chief Quartermaster to General Sam Jones.

With a rarity rating of 13-, this endorsement is one that most collectors don't get a chance to own. This example has already been encapsulated and will make a nice addition to any collection.
