Up for your consideration is a very nice Confederate $5 T-33 Note. Printed by Keatinge, & Ball in Richmond, VA. Dated September 2nd 1861. Serial # 30992 hand written in black ink at the top. FINE+/VERY FINE condition.

"Keatinge & Ball, Richmond VA" runs from the top left towards the bottom facing out. Printed on plain paper.

This issue continues to increase in popularity, and can be found with many different variations. CHOICE Uncirculated examples can surpass $8K+, and are tightly held by those who own them.

This particular example features a nice shade of green, and retains vivid details. Nice signatures and numbering. The paper is still fairly crisp, with about a dozen folds scattered evenly across the paper.

Nearly fully framed, while trimmed just a bit inside the line at the bottom margin. Most on the market, including the independent graders, would almost certainly apply a "CHOICE" grade to this note.

No staining, tears, ink erosion, or major condition issues to mention. Not cut-cancelled.
