Printed by J. T. Paterson in Columbia, SC. VERY FINE+ condition. Dated September 2nd 1861. Serial #76089 hand written in red ink. Plate letter A with the numeral 16 beneath it.

A bright example that is normally found worn and on dull paper. This crisp note has outstanding eye appeal, which is not at all common to find. This note's condition is very deceiving. At first glance, this one looks almost Uncirculated, but after very hard and careful scrutiny under intense lighting, I can make out five to six very faint vertical creases. The corners are sharp and unbent. No tears. A small glue spot on the backside, and a couple pinholes to mention for accuracy.

Vibrant looking with dark printing and strong details. Nice signatures and very clear numbering. A very nice cut with almost a full borderline visible, but cut a bit tight at the top right corner.

This note has plenty of appeal, and should meet your expectations.
