Crisp paper. Several folds and creases. Fairly clean despite being circulated. Signatures are strong and the printing is dark. The serial number is hand written in red and clearly reads 124402. Trimmed tight at the left side. No tears. Several pinholes.

Overall, this circulated early issue has retained plenty of eye appeal. Guaranteed to be a genuine issue from the Civil War era.
