Printed by Hoyer and Ludwig in Richmond, V.A...FINE condition. Dated September 2nd 1861. Plate letter A; serial #38241.

A highly collectable note that is extremely rare in high grades, and most often found very worn. Notorious for being known as the issue that has the worst trim.

Nice color. Great details. Evenly circulated, with normal numerous folds and creases. The paper is not limp, and does retain some crispness. Trimmed very tight on three sides. NO tears, repairs, cut-cancels, ink erosion, hinge markings, or other major issues to mention. No pinholes. Strong signatures.

If this note had a complete frame line, it would easily be CHOICE for the grade, and would be valued at double my asking price. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed.
