Printed by Keating & Ball in Richmond, VA. VERY FINE+/EXTREMELY FINE condition. Dated September 2nd 1861. Serial number 68654 hand written. The first $50 which features Jefferson Davis, who was the President of the Confederacy.

This note has nice green color with a sharp look on the front side. Looks like a high grade note. Dark details. Elaborately written signatures. The paper is very crisp and not cancelled. Not much evidence of circulation. No pinholes. I count (5) light vertical creases and a couple handling creases.

Features the CSA SCRIPT watermark directly in the center. Fully framed with a nice cut. A nice note! Light remnant of hinge glue on the backside corners which was a common practice with early american collectors.

As always, your satisfaction is guaranteed or a full refund will be given.
