Dated September 2nd 1861. Serial # 14145 hand written. This $50 note has nice green color with a sharp look on the front side, which gives the impression of being a much higher graded note. Dark details. Elaborately written signatures.
The paper is very crisp and not cancelled. Several folds and creases, but the paper has held up well. Some writing on the backside. A bit of scattered staining. No pinholes.
Printed on red fiber paper with no watermarks. Fully framed with a nice cut. A couple very small edge nicks at the top right, with one that barely touches the frame line.
