A very deceptive counterfeit, that fooled many people during the War. Serial letter 6, which is all too often a counterfeit.
Dark printing. Very clean on both sides. One light vertical fold at the left, along with one corner bend. Two hinge remnants on the backside corners. The top right corner has a bit of paper loss in that hinge remnant area.
Nicely cut with a full borderline visible. Guaranteed for life to be a genuine counterfeit from the Civil War era, and not to be confused with the many copies, facsimiles, and novelty notes that were printed in recent years that have no real value.
