EXTREMELY FINE+ condition. Dated September 2nd 1861. Plate letter A. Serial # 34512. A very deceptive counterfeit note from the Civil War, that possibly fooled many people. Fully issued with a hand written serial number and signatures.

This particular note shows evidence of very light circulation, with only two center vertical creases, and then a few other light handling creases. Very crisp paper, with some staining. No pinholes.

Nicely cut with a full borderline visible. Dark printing. Blank backside. All the details are very evident. Overall, this note is a nice example of an extremely deceptive counterfeit.
